Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Empathy is key to positive, healthy relationships. This book builds empathy in children. In clear, child-friendly words and illustrations, it helps them to understand that other people have feelings like theirs—and different from theirs. It guides children to show they care by listening to others and respecting their feelings. Includes questions to discuss and empathy games to play.

Customer Reviews: Great for adressing empathy (or lack thereof :) September 19, 2007 Mom of 2 (Tucson, AZ United States) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is the third book in the series that I have purchased for my 2 1/2 year old, and it's great. Simple repetitive language and clear pictures have helped us address typical 2-year-old selfishness from a new angle... I think it would also be great for early elementary age children with delays in their social understanding (autism, developmental delays, etc.)
Good for younger children or those needing more help January 22, 2010 E. Gaccione 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a very good book and works well for my 2 and 3 year olds but I purchased it for my 6 year old who has Sensory Processing Disorder. I think it's just a littel too immature for him even with his Sensory issues. I could see how this would help with a child with more extensive sensory issues such as those in Autism. My 6 year old is just a bit beyond this book and doesn't want to read it. My toddlers really enjoy it and it really helps them learn about empathy.
